Synopsis

Jack Elliot (Tom Selleck) is a New York Yankee baseball player who is traded to a Japanese team. Unhappy at first, he shows his teammates how to loosen up, and they teach him to respect baseball. Along the way, he falls in love with his new manager’s daughter, and life begins anew.
